Kyrka Melissokomikos Kyklos

The company KYRKA BEEKEEPING CIRCLE was founded in 1988, in Dafni Attica, by Dimitrios and Eleni Kyrka, beekeepers – pioneers and lovers of beekeeping. Initially it started as a hive manufacturing workshop and in the next three years the sugar dough production and beekeeping clothing manufacturing departments were added. The goal of our company is the production of quality beekeeping products that withstand time and intensive beekeeping operations, while at the same time being affordable for the Greek beekeeper and suitable for the so sensitive, and important for all of us, bee.

Beekeeping seminars

We believe that continuing education is the key to being able to achieve our goals. Beekeepers, beekeeping need constant information, training through seminars and lectures as well as personal study and teamwork. Therefore, in cooperation with associations, cooperatives and companies, we conduct seminars throughout Greece. So far we have conducted seminars in Athens, Larissa, Lamia, Domoko, Sparta, Gytheio, Chania, Sitia, Karpathos, Kasos, Serifos, Folegandros, Santorini, Kos, Kalymnos. The speaker of the seminars is Evangelia Kyrka, beekeeper, Tech. Agronomist, with a master’s degree in Food Science and Technology, Department of Quality Assurance Reading University of England and with trainer certification from EOPPEP.
